Your Role
As Business Development Manager, you’ll play a vital role in growing our presence in QLD by building connections, fostering partnerships, and showcasing the unique benefits of our sustainable, recycled eco surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to expand into QLD’s architecture, design, and construction markets.
- Involve in appointing distributors and maintain ongoing relationships with them.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with stonemasons, kitchen showrooms, architects, designers, builders, and developers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Promote the environmental benefits, safety features, and superior quality of our sustainable, silicosis-safe recycled surfaces.
- Collaborate with marketing and management teams to create promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the QLD market.
- Negotiate contracts that align with business goals and support growth.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine strategies and gain a competitive edge.
- Report to the General Manager with insights, performance updates, and growth initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven business development experience (5+ years) in surfaces, benchtops, or related industries.
- Established network within QLD’s architecture, design, construction, stonemason, and kitchen showroom sectors.
- Strong record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth, with focus on margins.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Strategic and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of silicosis safety standards and product installation requirements is a bonus.
- Passion for sustainability and Australian-made products is essential.
