VP Marketing

The Vice President Marketing is responsible for leading SISA’s branding, promotions, and communications across all platforms. They will oversee marketing initiatives, maintain SISA’s brand image and online presence, and work closely with Marketing Associates to create engaging content that strengthens community engagement and promotes SISA events and initiatives.

Lead and execute marketing initiatives for SISA events and programs

Oversee Marketing Associates and coordinate promotional content across platforms

Manage SISA’s social media platforms and overall brand presence

Creating fun and meaningful captions for social media posts

Getting all social media and promotional material approved before posting

Ensure all marketing content aligns with SISA’s branding and community image

Collaborate with executives to support organizational and event promotion efforts

Maintain professionalism, accountability, and timely communication across all responsibilities

Mandatory attendance at all executive meetings and SISA events

Participate in boothing events for minimum 4 slots (30 minutes each)

Adhere to the three strike system in case of no show at meetings and/or SISA events without a valid reason

Strong communication and organizational skills

Open to learning diverse cultures

Prior experience in a similar role is an asset

Competence in Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, iMovie, CapCut and/or other computer video editing software

Strong attention to detail

Experience managing social media channels

Effective time management skills

Ability to work independently and in a team

Co-op and exchange candidates must have sufficient availability to fulfill responsibilities consistently
