The VP Logistics manages SISA's operations and logistical tasks for events, working closely with the VP Events to ensure seamless event planning and execution. They oversee transportation, inventory, procurement, and distribution.
### Responsibilities
Source event materials, supplies, and equipment required for SISA events, including transportation and delivery logistics
Create budget sheets for event supplies, food, and operational expenses prior to each event
Delegate logistics-related tasks effectively and oversee the Logistics Associate
Coordinate room bookings, appliance rentals, and event logistics in collaboration with VP Internal
Work closely with VP External regarding sponsorship deliverables, in-kind partnerships, and vendor coordination
Create event layouts, seating arrangements, and operational flow plans for events
Produce and manage Google Forms for event registration, attendance, and feedback
Be timely with deadlines and respond to all Slack messages within 24 hours
Mandatory attendance at all executive meetings and SISA events
Participate in boothing events for minimum 4 slots (30 minutes each)
Adhere to the three strike system in case of no show at meetings and/or SISA events without a valid reason
### Qualifications
Previous experience in logistics, event coordination, operations, or project management preferred
Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills
Ability to delegate tasks effectively and work closely with Logistics Associate
Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
Effective verbal and professional written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
Co-op and exchange candidates must have sufficient availability to fulfill responsibilities consistently
