The Vice President Finance is responsible for overseeing SISA’s financial operations, including budgeting, expense tracking, reimbursements, and financial planning for all initiatives and events. They will work closely with the Co-Chairs and executive team to ensure financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and compliance with CUS procedures and policies. The VP Finance will also manage contracts and financial documentation in a timely and organized manner.
### Responsibilities
Develop and manage SISA’s annual and event budgets, including tracking revenues, expenses, and reimbursements
Oversee and support the VP Finance Associate in completing financial tasks
Research vendor pricing and support cost-effective event planning
Liaise with the CUS regarding budgeting, contracts, and financial procedures
Collaborate with Co-Chairs and executives to support SISA operations and events
Maintain professionalism, accountability, and timely communication across all responsibilities
Attend all mandatory meetings, training sessions, events, and boothing commitments
Participate in boothing events for minimum 4 slots (30 minutes each)
Adhere to the three strike system in case of no show at meetings and/or SISA events without a valid reason
### Qualifications
Strong organizational and financial management skills
Experience with budgeting, bookkeeping, or financial tracking
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working with diverse teams and communities
