The Vice Chair assists the Co-Chairs with ensuring fairness in the elections process, coordinating with the AMS and CUS, and other ad hoc leadership tasks.
### Time Commitment
Low: ~1-3 hours per week
High: ~5-10 hours per week
### Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with developing strategies to attain the goals of the Elections Committee, including but not limited to increasing student engagement and voter turnout.
  • Develop constructive ideas for updating existing
    regulations as defined in Article 4 of the CUS Code of Procedure.
  • In close coordination with the Co-Chairpersons, provide guidance and leadership to all other aspects of the Committee to increase election engagement.
  • Retain up-to-date knowledge of the Committee’s affairs.
  • Regularly update and maintain quality information on the CUS Elections website.
  • Attend regular meetings and all election-related events.
  • Assist at the promotion and polling stations.
  • Be proactive and respond to messages on Slack and email within 24 hours.
