The Podcast Host is responsible for leading engaging, thoughtful, and well-structured conversations that reflect the mission and voice of the Comm Street Podcast. They serve as the primary on-air representative of the podcast, guiding interviews, facilitating meaningful dialogue, and ensuring each episode delivers value to listeners.

This role requires strong communication skills, curiosity, and the ability to connect authentically with guests from diverse professional backgrounds. The Podcast Host collaborates closely with the production, marketing, and research teams to prepare for episodes, refine interview direction, and maintain a consistent and professional podcast presence.

### Responsibilities
  • Research guests and prepare interview questions collaboratively with the team 

  • Lead and engage in conversations during recordings

  • Maintain professional communication with guests before, during and after interviews

### Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to lead and engage in conversations effectively

  • Open-mindedness when engaging with differing perspectives

  • Maturity to navigate sensitive or vulnerable conversations

  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport with guests quickly 

  • Ability to receive and apply feedback and have a collaborative mindset
