We are seeking a Senior Workplace Interior Designer to lead the creative vision for commercial workplace interior projects while supporting client pursuits, presentations, and business development initiatives.

This role is ideal for a highly creative and client-facing designer who enjoys owning the design process from concept through delivery and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in shaping modern workplace environments while helping drive new business opportunities through compelling design presentations and strategic client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design efforts for commercial workplace interior projects from concept through project completion
  • Develop workplace layouts, test fits, and space plans aligned with client goals and operational needs
  • Create high-quality renderings, presentations, and visual materials for client reviews and approvals
  • Partner with firm leadership on design strategy, client presentations, and business development pursuits
  • Oversee design development including finishes, materials, furniture selections, and detailing
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, consultants, and external partners to maintain design intent throughout execution
  • Serve as the lead designer during client meetings, presentations, and design reviews
  • Support proposal efforts and contribute creative direction during project pursuits
  • Ensure designs align with project budgets, schedules, and constructability requirements
  • Stay current on workplace trends, innovative materials, and evolving interior design standards

Requirements

  • 7–12+ years of commercial interior design experience with a strong focus on workplace/corporate office interiors
  • Strong expertise in space planning, workplace strategy, and test fits
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software
  • Proven ability to create polished, client-ready presentations and visualizations
  • Previous experience in a Senior Designer, Design Lead, or client-facing leadership role
  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, furniture systems, and interior detailing
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field required
