Posted about 1 month ago
OfficeMumbai, Maharashtra, IndiaSE
We aren't looking for someone to just "run a workshop." We need a seasoned L&OD Manager who acts as a culture architect. You will bridge the gap between business needs and human potential, designing high-impact learning journeys and delivering them with the poise of a pro. This role is for a mature leader who understands that behavioral change happens through empathy, not just slides.
Core Responsibilities
1. Learning Strategy & Needs Analysis
- Roadmap Creation: Develop a comprehensive learning calendar that balances technical skills, "power skills" (soft skills), and compliance training.
- Budget Management: Oversee the L&D budget, ensuring high-impact delivery with a focus on cost-to-benefit ratios.
2. Instructional Design & Content Creation
- Modern Pedagogy: Design engaging learning materials using various formats (e-learning, instructor-led workshops, blended learning, and micro-learning).
- LMS Management: Maintain and curate the Learning Management System, ensuring content is updated, accessible, and user-friendly.
3. Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Live Facilitation: Lead high-energy training sessions, ranging from New Hire Orientation to Leadership Development programs.
- External Partnerships: Vet and manage third-party training vendors or guest speakers for niche technical requirements.
4. Organizational Development (OD) & Culture
- Culture Building: Drive initiatives that reinforce company values (e.g., DEI programs, wellness initiatives, or team-building events like a Summer Carnival).
- Change Management: Support the business through transitions by providing toolkits and coaching to help employees adapt to new processes or structures.
- Performance Management: Assist in the design of appraisal systems and "High Potential" (HiPo) programs to identify future leaders.
5. Analytics & Impact Measurement
- ROI Tracking: Move beyond "smile sheets" to measure the actual impact of training on performance (using models like Kirkpatrick’s Levels of Evaluation).
- Reporting: Present monthly dashboards to leadership showing participation rates, completion scores, and skill progression.
The Profile: Requirements & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5–8+ years with a track record creating training content and delivery. Total Experience 10+years in L&D
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency with LMS platforms (e.g., iSpring, Profit.co & Workday) and content creation tools.
- Soft Skills: * The "Coach" Mindset: Exceptional active listening and empathy.
- Public Speaking: High confidence in front of a crowd.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to see how a 1-hour workshop fits into a 3-year business goal.
