Core Objective: Lead and scale the Buyers Club initiative across marquee exhibitions. Drive the acquisition, engagement, retention, and matchmaking of high-quality domestic and international buyers while building a structured loyalty ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Buyer Acquisition & Matchmaking
- Scale the Database: Identify and onboard high-potential, quality-profiled buyers across various industry verticals.
- Strategic Matchmaking: Align buyer profiles with exhibitor categories to facilitate high-value business matchmaking and curated meetings.
- Program Management: Oversee and coordinate specialized hosted buyer and VIP programs.
2. Attendance & Loyalty Management
- Drive Turnout: Manage pre-event engagement (invitations, reminders, follow-ups) to ensure a strong turnout of key decision-makers.
- Loyalty Club Development: Design and manage a tier-based Buyers Loyalty Club offering exclusive benefits and rewards to drive repeat participation.
3. Customer Success & Data Analytics
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key buyers, ensuring an excellent end-to-end experience and resolving issues promptly.
- CRM & Insights: Maintain database hygiene, analyze buyer behavioral trends, and generate post-event performance reports.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with project, sales, marketing, and operations teams to align buyer strategies with overall show objectives.
KPIs / Success Metrics
- Number of qualified buyers acquired & attendance percentage.
- Quality of buyer-to-exhibitor fitment & meeting outcomes.
- Loyalty club growth, engagement, and repeat buyer retention rate.
- Buyer satisfaction scores (CSAT).
- Database accuracy and growth levels.
Requirements
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
- Experience: 10+ years in buyer engagement, hosted buyer programs, customer success, or exhibition management.
- Industry Background: Exhibitions & Trade Shows, Event Management, B2B Conferences, Buyer-Seller Platforms, or Industry Associations.
- Education: MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Business Management preferred (Graduates with relevant industry experience are welcome).
Key Skills & Competencies
- Technical/Functional: Buyer relationship management, CRM/database handling, community building, and data analysis.
