The VP Marketing & Engagement role oversees the program’s marketing strategies by managing social media accounts, boosting engagement, launching creative campaigns, and building partnerships with external organizations.
### Time Commitment
  • 2-4 hours/week from May 2026 - September 2026

  • 4-8 hours/week from Jan 2027 - April 2027

  • ### Term of Employment

    May 2026 - March 2027

    ### Main Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and execute various marketing strategies to increase brand awareness within the current student population

  • Oversee development of promotional content (i.e. graphics, videos, email campaigns)

  • Maintain and grow social media accounts, boost account engagement and run offline marketing initiatives

  • Liaise with external partners (i.e. CUSunday, CUSVM) for the program’s creative endeavours

  • ### Qualifications
  • Familiar with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other marketing channels

  • Ability to design and manage marketing campaigns on various platforms, such as Instagram

  • Ability to use Canva, Figma, or other design software

  • Video editing skills (i.e., Adobe) are an asset

  • Persuasive written communication abilities

  • Strong sense of responsibility, exceptional attention to detail and organization skills

  • Commitment to Casing Junior Development and its success

  • ### Anticipated Learning Outcomes

    The VP Marketing & Engagement should be able to develop their communication skills throughout their term. The incumbents will also be able to meet and develop connections with business professionals. In addition, incumbents will have opportunities to use and develop skills in (but not limited to) the following areas:

  • Greater experience in coordinating social media and marketing campaigns

  • Proficiency with graphic design platforms, content creation, and marketing strategy management

  • Experience managing a brand and launching promotional content

  • Expanded portfolio of marketing content related to the Casing Junior Development Program

  • Submit the following information to Lever by May 22 @ 11:59pm:
