The VP Finance is responsible for processing financial reimbursements and assisting the Co-Chairs with budget formation. They are also responsible for ensuring that spending aligns with the approved budget and maintaining accurate cash flow management.

### Time Commitment

Regular: 1-2 hours/week | Peak periods: 3 hours/week leading up to events

### Term of Employment

May 2026 - April 2027

### Main Responsibilities

● Assist the Co-Directors in preparing the 2026-2027 budget.

● Process reimbursements for execs and team members through CUS/AMS.

● Communicate budget updates to the team.

● Monitor and manage spending to ensure adherence to the budget.

### Qualifications

● Basic understanding of accounting and budgeting

● Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented

● Good communication skills and a team-first attitude

● Previous experience with the CUS reimbursement process is an asset

### Anticipated Learning Outcomes

As VP Finance, you will gain hands-on experience in budgeting and financial management while building meaningful business connections. Additionally, you will develop the following skills:

● Strengthen knowledge of CUS/AMS financial processes and reimbursement systems

● Develop stronger organizational, communication, and leadership skills

● Build meaningful connections within the COSAS community and broader CUS network
