Infrastructure Security Engineer

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an Infrastructure Security Engineer to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Support the implementation and delivery of infrastructure security solutions.
• Monitor systems, services, and applications to maintain stability and performance after deployment.
• Apply and maintain approved security hardening configurations for infrastructure systems.
• Assist in remediating CIS security findings.
• Plan, deploy, and configure infrastructure, software, and security products.
• Support hybrid-cloud, SASE, and on-premises DMZ environments.
• Investigate technical and security issues and assist with resolving them.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure, systems administration, or infrastructure security roles.
• Experience with Linux operating systems, infrastructure as code, and automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with systems administration.
• Knowledge of computer and communication security principles, networking, and vulnerabilities in operating systems and applications.
• Knowledge of security technologies related to hybrid-cloud, SASE, and on-premises DMZ environments.
• Familiarity with cyber hygiene practices and Critical Security Controls.
• Fluency in English.
