Assist the POITS Chair in event logistics, leading up to and including the execution of the event.

Responsible for the execution and logistics of all events run by POITS
-
Prior to event: security, acquisition of alcohol, solo cups/wristbands, party busses, venues (as needed)
-
Event day: acquisition of alcohol, ice, speakers, and after party logistics
-
Reach out to sponsors to place liquor orders
-

Strong organization and communication skills
-
Responsible, outgoing, and detail-oriented
-
Previous event planning skills are an asset
-
Driver’s license/access to a car is considered an asset
-
Practical planning and project management skills for large-scale events
-
Problem-solving and adaptability skills
-
Enhanced exposure to POITS and CUS organization
