The marketing team will raise awareness for CUS Pride, which includes creating social media posts and content for events, liaising with CUSunday and CUS Marketing, and exploring other channels for spreading awareness. The VP Graphic Design will focus on creating graphics, while the VP Visual Media will focus on video and reel content.
VP Visual Media should be able to develop their communication skills throughout their term. As the marketing team, members will also be able to meet and develop connections with business professionals. In addition, incumbents will have opportunities to use and develop skills in (but not limited to) the following areas:
- Social media content creation and management
- Video editing and tools such as CapCut
- Strategic marketing and awareness-raising techniques
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Problem-solving and innovative thinking in marketing strategies
- Advocacy and promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusivity initiatives within the community
- A resume outlining your most relevant experiences
- A cover letter answering the following questions:
- Why do you want to join CUS Pride?
- What skills/experiences do you possess that make you the best fit for your desired role?
- What are some ideas of events/initiatives for Pride that you want to implement in the CUS/Sauder community?
