The VP Logistics oversees and executes the planning, logistics, and execution of Pride’s events throughout the year. As events are at the core of our service, the VP Logistics will work closely with the Chair and VP Finance to host events that welcome queer business students as well as create a community. The VP Logistics will manage external relations, such as sponsorships and community partners, internal event logistics, and detailed planning and scheduling/delegation.
### Time CommitmentVP Logistics should be able to develop their communication skills throughout their term. They will also be able to meet and develop connections with business professionals. In addition, incumbents will have opportunities to use and develop skills in (but not limited to) the following areas:
- Event planning and logistics management
- Budget management and strategic purchasing
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
- Effective communication and leadership within a team setting
- Advocacy and promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusivity initiatives within the community
- A resume outlining your most relevant experiences
- A cover letter answering the following questions:
- Why do you want to join CUS Pride?
- What skills/experiences do you possess that make you the best fit for your desired role?
- What are some ideas of events/initiatives for Pride that you want to implement in the CUS/Sauder community?
