The VP Finance & Internal handles both the financial operations and internal team coordination for CUS Pride. You’ll work closely with the FA and Co-Chairs to manage our budget, reimbursements, purchases, and help organize events and team activities. You’ll also lead team-building, support VP transitions, and help foster connections within CUS Pride and beyond.
### Time Commitment
Summer: 3-5 hours per week | School year: 5-7 hours per week
### Main Responsibilities
VP Finance & Internal should be able to develop their communication skills throughout their term. As VP Finance & Internal, incumbents will also be able to meet and develop connections with business professionals. In addition, incumbents will have opportunities to use and develop skills in (but not limited to) the following areas:
- Budget management and financial planning
- Strategic purchasing and cost-saving techniques
- Effective team collaboration and leadership
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
- Advocacy and promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusivity within the community
