What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of cement plant mechanical equipment.
- Support preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and work with team members to implement effective solutions.
- Follow safety procedures and participate in plant safety initiatives and training programs.
- Learn and apply mechanical maintenance best practices while developing technical skills in a heavy industrial environment.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a strong interest in industrial equipment maintenance.
- Ability to learn, apply, and follow safe work practices and operating procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Capability to read, understand, and follow technical instructions, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
- Dependable work ethic with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
