  • Communication & Training: Effectively communicate process risks, safety measures, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) to operators, technicians, drivers, and contractors. Lead HSEQ activities, including safety trainings, root cause analyses (RCA), and regular safety meetings.

  • Empowerment & Reporting: Ensure all personnel understand their obligation to report undesired events and exercise their Stop Work Authority in the event of any anomaly or imminent threat to health, safety, or the environment.

2. Production & Operations Management

  • Production Planning: Collaborate closely with Logistics & Production Planning to maintain an up-to-date production schedule and optimize plant operating modes.

  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor daily plant operations, troubleshoot technical issues, investigate incidents, and direct operators on effective corrective actions.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Compile periodic production and performance reports. Ensure all operational documentation, including P&IDs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), is kept up-to-date and readily accessible.

  • Team & Resource Management: Define clear operational roles and specific responsibilities for each technician. Manage overtime schedules in strict alignment with company regulations and targets.

3. Maintenance Coordination

  • Work Planning & Feedback: Align with maintenance engineers to develop daily and weekly work plans, track progress, and provide constructive feedback.

  • Safety Prioritization: Ensure that process safety and HSEQ-related maintenance tasks are strictly prioritized within the schedule.

  • Critical Equipment: Guarantee that Elements Important for Safety (EIS) are fully operational, tracked, and correctly maintained on time.

4. SIO (Smart Innovative Operations) & Energy Efficiency

  • Goods Receipt & Quality Control: Process goods receipts and inspect the quality of purchased goods and services, taking immediate corrective action with suppliers if requirements are not met.

  • Financial Alignment: Monitor and manage assigned operational budgets to ensure full alignment with company financial targets.

6. Subcontractor & Facility Management

  • Subcontractor Supervision: Inspect contractor work on-site, demonstrate visible safety leadership, and intervene using Stop Work Authority when necessary.

  • Logistics Safety: Verify that all transport drivers possess the required competencies and legal authorities for liquid loading, unloading, and transfer operations. Organize and document training for both new and existing drivers.
