As the Site QA/QC Manager, your day-to-day will involve high-visibility oversight across the construction site:
QMS Leadership: Deploy, manage, and audit the site-specific Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Construction Surveillance: Oversee daily field inspections for mechanical, structural, civil, and E&I activities to ensure full alignment with engineering drawings.
Welding & NDT Oversight: Manage welding engineering compliance (WPS/PQR), welder qualifications, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) tracking for high-pressure piping.
Air Liquide Specialty Standards: Enforce critical specialty quality protocols, including oxygen-cleanliness specifications and cryogenic insulation standards.
Contractor Management: Lead pre-inspection alignment meetings with subcontractors, witness critical hold points, and manage contractor quality performance.
Defect & NCR Management: Issue and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), leading root-cause analyses to drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Project Handover: Review, compile, and validate contractor Quality Turnover Packages (TOP) and As-Built documentation to ensure a seamless transition to the Commissioning team.
Are you a MATCH?
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical field experience.
8+ years of QA/QC experience on large-scale industrial construction sites (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial Gas plants preferred).
Technical Certifications: Certified Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI, CSWIP 3.1, or equivalent) and familiarity with NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT).
Codes & Standards: Strong working knowledge of international codes (ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII, API) and local regulatory frameworks.
Exceptional leadership skills.
Collaborative mindset to work alongside HSE and construction teams.
Uncompromising eye for detail.
This role is fully field-based on an active construction site. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adhering to strict site safety protocols.
