What are we looking for and what does it require to be a Specialist Cybersecurity Compliance?
We are looking for a skilled cybersecurity compliance resource who is responsible for carrying out IT General Controls (ITGCs) across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory and SOX requirements, performing evidence collection from relevant points of contact (POCs), and coordinating statuary, internal, external, regulatory, UHY, and SOX audits and management self-assessment. The role involves executing ad hoc, monthly and quarterly and periodic control testing, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and SOX controls, and coordinating with relevant teams to maintain ongoing compliance.
Responsibilities:
· Execute monthly, quarterly, and periodic IT General Controls (ITGC) and SOX control testing, ensuring timely evidence collection and upload.
· Coordinate internal, external, regulatory, UHY, and SOX audits, including stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
· Identify control gaps and deficiencies, document findings, and support remediation planning and tracking.
· Develop and maintain control documentation, including risk and control matrices (RCMs), narratives, and process flows.
· Maintain audit and compliance trackers, ensuring accurate status of testing, findings, and remediation actions.
· Manage and maintain the GRC tool, including reporting and dashboarding.
· Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to senior management on control testing results, audit findings, and cybersecurity updates.
· Perform periodic cybersecurity enterprise risk reporting to the Finance Internal Controls team.
· Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks, SOX requirements, and Group Cybersecurity policies.
· Communicate policy and control requirements across the organization and work with cross-functional teams to implement and sustain effective controls.
· Stay current with changes to SOX requirements, regulatory frameworks, and audit methodologies, and propose process improvements to enhance compliance efficiency.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Information Security/Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience in SOX compliance, internal IT audit, IT general controls, or related assurance functions. Experience in the telco sector will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of SOX requirements and IT General Controls (ITGCs).
- Familiarity with GRC tools, practices, and methodologies.
- Familiarity with audit coordination, evidence collection processes, and control documentation.
- Experience supporting external audits (e.g., regulatory, UHY, SOX) in previous organizations.
- Strong technical understanding to evaluate IT controls related to access management, change management, and operations.
- Familiarity with cyber security risk assessment terminologies and methodologies.
