The Opportunity
- Responsible for the scheduling and planning of materials and production, providing resources and materials according to pre-established demand.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and optimize production planning and scheduling across multiples sites and lines
- Site scheduling and planning according to the forecast
- Forecast anticipated materials requirements to support production planning
- Focus on optimizing capacity and minimizing downtime
- Coordinate supply to ensure availability of materials in line with demand
- Ensure the timely flow of materials to production lines
- Manage the return and movement of finished goods to distribution facilities
- Handle customs clearance and shipping processes
- Oversee and manage materials inventory levels and accuracy
- You may be required to work outside of your ordinary hours of work to participate in essential training, team meetings, customer events or trade shows/conferences. These events may take place on an evening and/or weekend.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Minimum 1 year experience in planning/scheduling in a manufacturing, preferably in dairy, FMCG or similar industry
- Strong organization and time management, high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive and resulted oriented
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Resilient under pressure and commercially astute
