This role is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina (hybrid).

Where You’ll Make a Difference
Provide specialized technical support to fuel ethanol and grain processing customers, helping optimize plant performance, fermentation efficiency, yield, process stability, and profitability.
Act as a subject matter expert in enzyme and yeast applications across liquefaction, saccharification, fermentation, and coproduct generation processes.
Lead plant assessments, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations, translating complex process data into practical recommendations and measurable performance improvements.
Design, execute, and validate industrial trials, defining clear KPIs and demonstrating technical and economic value.
Partner closely with commercial teams to support customer growth, value selling, new product introductions, and technology adoption.
Deliver technical training to customers and internal teams on fermentation, process optimization, biotechnology applications, and operational best practices.
Collaborate with R&D, Applications, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to develop innovative solutions that address customer challenges and drive business growth.
Maintain a strong field presence, building credibility with plant operators, process engineers, and leadership teams through hands-on technical support.
What Makes You the Right Fit
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Industrial Engineering, Agronomy, or related fields.
Proven experience in fuel ethanol production, industrial fermentation, grain processing, or biotechnology applications within industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of enzyme technologies, yeast management, fermentation performance, and process optimization.
Experience in biodiesel production or renewable fuels is a strong plus and will be highly valued.
Experience analyzing plant data, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions that deliver measurable operational and economic improvements.
Experience working directly with customers and supporting commercial growth through technical expertise.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
Availability to travel across LATAM.
How Would You Stand Out?
Direct experience in dry-mill ethanol production and corn processing operations.
Knowledge of coproduct optimization, including DDGS and corn oil recovery.
Experience with biodiesel production or renewable fuels technologies.
Strong data analysis capabilities and the ability to translate technical results into business value.
Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset with proven success operating in industrial plant environments.
