Job Description
As a Receptionist at DELANO Dubai, you are the welcoming face of the property, responsible for creating a seamless, elegant, and intuitive arrival experience. You will ensure every guest interaction reflects the warmth, sophistication, and effortless style of the DELANO brand, from check-in to departure.
- Guest Welcome & Arrival Experience: Deliver a warm, polished, and personalised welcome, setting the tone for a refined luxury stay
- Check-In & Check-Out: Manage arrivals and departures efficiently, ensuring accuracy, smooth processing, and an effortless guest journey
- Guest Engagement: Build genuine rapport with guests, offering a calm, attentive, and professional presence throughout their stay
- Reservation Handling: Manage room allocations, preferences, and special requests with precision and attention to detail
- Service Excellence: Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer support, recommendations, and solutions
- System Accuracy: Maintain precise records in PMS systems, ensuring all guest information and billing details are correct
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest queries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating where required to ensure swift resolution
- Communication & Coordination: Liaise effectively with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Brand Standards: Maintain DELANO’s luxury presentation and service standards in all guest-facing interactions
- Lobby Presence: Ensure the front desk and lobby area remain organised, elegant, and reflective of the brand at all times
Qualifications
- Luxury Experience: Proven experience in luxury hospitality (luxury hotel or resort front office), delivering refined and discreet guest service
- Guest Engagement Excellence: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, natural guest approach
- Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of front office operations, PMS systems, and luxury service standards
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling guest data, billing, and room allocations
- Service Mindset: Calm, composed, and guest-focused approach in a fast-paced environment
- Team Collaboration: Strong coordination skills across departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Educational Background: A relevant qualification such as a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management (or equivalent experience) is preferred, reflecting a commitment to professional standards
