Job Description

Join LEONI and drive strategic manufacturing transformation across our global operations network! As a Global Plant Readiness & Manufacturing Transformation Expert, you will prepare plants for production transfers, industrialization and strategic operational initiatives, working closely with plant leadership to ensure successful execution and sustainable operational excellence.

 

What will be your responsibilities?         

  • Conducts maturity assessments of industrialization or de-industrialization projects at plant level
  • Prepares plants and organizations to take over product volumes or projects from sister plants in line with strategic footprint plans
  • Ensures production transfer plans are executable and aligned with timelines, milestones, and budget constraints
  • Develops and implements innovative solutions to improve bottom-line results by enhancing Plant Readiness structures and service capabilities
  • Partnering with plant leadership to assess plant readiness, identify risks and implement sustainable improvement initiatives
  • Designs and coordinates global initiatives to implement action plans to ensure the operational performance of the respective plants e.g. line balancing, shopfloor management, Run@Rate studies
  • Takes charge of operational management in urgent or critical organizational situations (task force mode)
  • Resolves customer complaints using data-driven analysis and performance metrics to de-escalate issues
  • Reports regularly on the implementation status, milestones and risks
  • Proposes and implements measures for improving team performance, change management, organizational optimization

Qualifications

What do we expect from you?

  • A university degree
  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry, ideally within manufacturing transformation, industrialization, production transfers or operational excellence
  • Project Management Methodologies
  • Business Case Preparation
  • Risk Assessment & Financial Analysis
  • Portfolio Management
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, shopfloor management and continuous improvement principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to drive change and perform effectively in dynamic or critical operational situations
  • Profound work experience within the Automotive TIER 1 environment, incl. Production Restructuring, Green- or Brown Field management and production transfers
  • Willingness to travel internationally

Basic gross guaranteed salary: from 2500 EUR/Brutto 

The final salary may be higher than the advertised minimum and will be determined individually based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and the requirements of the position.
