Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

·      Design, develop, customize, and support Siemens Teamcenter solutions across various business functions.

  • Participate in the complete PLM implementation lifecycle, including:

  • Requirements gathering and analysis

  • Solution design and architecture

  • Development and customization

  • Testing and validation

  • Deployment and post-go-live support

  • Configure and customize Teamcenter data models, workflows, business rules, and user interfaces using BMIDE.

  • Develop and maintain Teamcenter customizations using:

  • ITK

  • C++

  • Java

  • Active Workspace (AWC)

  • Design and implement integrations between Teamcenter and enterprise applications, CAD, and engineering systems.

  • Work extensively with Teamcenter modules including:

  • Active Workspace (AWC)

  • Easy Plan

  • Workflow Management

  • Change Management

  • Document Management

  • Develop and support T4x integrations for seamless data exchange between Teamcenter and external systems.

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, architects, and customers to deliver high-quality PLM solutions.

  • Participate in technical reviews, code reviews, and solution governance activities.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge articles.

Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior developers

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience :

  • 5–7 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter development and implementation.

Mandatory/requires Skills :
·       Strong experience in:

  • Siemens Teamcenter

  • Active Workspace (AWC)

  • Easy Plan

  • BMIDE

  • Workflow and Data Model Configuration

  • Hands-on development experience using:

  • ITK

  • C++

  • Java

  • Experience with Teamcenter customization and extension frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture and deployment concepts.

  • Experience integrating Teamcenter with CAD/Engineering systems such as:

  • Siemens NX

  • CATIA

  • Good experience with T4x framework and related integrations.

  • Experience with web services, APIs, and enterprise integrations.

Domain Experience

  • Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or similar PLM-driven environments.

  • Understanding of engineering and product development processes.

  • Preferred Skills :
    Exposure to Teamcenter cloud or enterprise deployment environments.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience working with distributed global teams.

  • Siemens Teamcenter certifications will be an added advantage.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
