Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing in one or more laboratory departments, including Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Microbiology, Immunology, and Urinalysis.
• Analyze, interpret, and verify laboratory test results in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Perform quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Recognize abnormal findings and promptly communicate critical values according to facility protocols.
• Follow all laboratory safety procedures, infection prevention guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other applicable standards.
• Collaborate with pathologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
