Candidates who progressed from Foreman or Superintendent into Project Management are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Develop manpower plans, labor budgets, production targets, procurement schedules, and project timelines
  • Direct Superintendents, Foremen, internal crews, vendors, and project partners
  • Track labor hours, installation rates, productivity, project costs, forecasts, and profitability
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work for constructability and completeness
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, material procurement, deliveries, and project documentation
  • Visit jobsites regularly to monitor safety, quality, staffing, progress, and production
  • Identify labor, scheduling, coordination, and cost risks before they affect project performance
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, field leadership, and company management
  • Oversee punch-list completion, closeout documentation, and final project turnover

Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction Project Management experience with a self-performing contractor or specialty subcontractor
  • Direct experience managing company-employed field crews required
  • Background in drywall, metal stud framing, commercial interiors, painting, exterior finishes, or a related specialty trade
  • Strong understanding of manpower planning, production rates, labor tracking, sequencing, and field operations
  • Experience managing labor budgets, project schedules, cost forecasts, change orders, and project profitability
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple active projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary based on experience
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Health benefits
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Long-term advancement opportunities within a growing construction organization

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on specialty construction Project Manager who understands field production, knows how to lead internal crews, and can take direct ownership of project execution and profitability.
