Your Opportunity
We're looking for a Client Project Manager to join our Client Delivery Group within Product & Services. In this role, you'll lead a portfolio of complex client delivery initiatives across payments, compliance, digital transformation and product implementation programs. You'll work closely with clients and cross-functional delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully while maintaining exceptional client experiences.
Operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment, you'll manage multiple concurrent projects and play a key role in driving delivery outcomes through strong stakeholder engagement, proactive risk management and effective project governance.
You'll also make an impact by:
- Managing 4-6 concurrent client projects, ensuring delivery milestones are achieved across scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.
- Partnering with delivery squads and product teams to ensure work progresses effectively through Agile sprint cycles.
- Producing fortnightly internal and client status reports, steering committee packs, project governance artefacts and executive updates.
- Leading project kick-offs, steering committee meetings and client workshops to drive engagement and alignment.
- Building trusted client relationships through clear, concise and professional communication, ensuring stakeholders feel supported and confident throughout delivery.
- Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and change requests while maintaining a focus on successful client outcomes.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
You're an experienced Project Manager who thrives in client-facing environments and enjoys balancing multiple priorities, stakeholders and delivery streams. You bring a pragmatic approach to delivery, strong commercial awareness and a solutions-focused mindset.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- A minimum of 5 years' project management experience delivering complex technology, digital or business change initiatives.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently within customer-facing environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage, influence and build credibility with clients and senior leaders.
- Experience working within Hybrid delivery environments, combining Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of project management frameworks, with PMP, CAPM, Prince2 or equivalent certifications highly regarded.
- Experience using project scheduling and delivery tools such as MS Project and Jira.
- Strong financial management, planning and reporting capabilities including project budgets, forecasting and governance reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, concisely and confidently to clients and stakeholders.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have:
- Experience within payments, banking, fintech or financial services environments.
- Exposure to financial risk, compliance or regulated environments.
- Experience bridging traditional project management disciplines with Agile delivery teams.
