Manager Accounting - ITAA Certified

Job Description

What you'll do:

• You'll conduct technical reviews of accounting deliverables across bookkeeping, financial statements, management reporting, and tax returns, ensuring compliance with BeGAAP, Lux GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP standards alongside internal quality procedures.
• You'll manage a portfolio of clients—primarily SPVs and alternative investment funds across Belgium and Luxembourg—serving as the technical reference point for complex accounting matters and client requests.
• You'll provide technical guidance and feedback to Accounting and GCD teams, supporting their professional development and ensuring consistent application of accounting standards across the organisation.
• You'll oversee the correct and timely use of internal systems and tools (Navigator WF, Navigator Doc, QICS), verify adherence to procedures, and participate in process improvement reviews.
• You'll identify and remediate technical risks, inconsistencies, and errors in accounting work, ensuring all deliverables meet regulatory requirements and client-specific expectations.

Qualifications

About you:

• You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (BAC+5) in Accountancy or Business Administration.
• You bring at least 6-8 years of professional experience in accounting, with strong technical expertise in Lux GAAP (essential) and knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP (advantageous).
• You are registered with and fully licenced by the Belgian Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants (ITAA).
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Demasy, with native fluency in French or Dutch and fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
• You demonstrate excellent technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to provide guidance on complex accounting matters across multiple regulatory frameworks.
