### About the RoleWe are a fast-growing hardware startup looking for a Senior Sales Operations Analyst who thrives in a build-it-as-you-go environment.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of sales operations, order management, and business systems. Rather than splitting ownership across Sales and Operations, this role is intentionally designed to own the entire quote-to-booking process end to end from opportunity creation and quoting through order processing, booking, and handoff to fulfillment.
You'll also help architect and test the systems that power that lifecycle, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks between teams. This is not a role for someone who needs a fully built playbook. It's the right role for someone who wants to write one.
Sales Operations (Day-to-Day)

Support the sales team with pipeline management, forecasting, territory and quota tracking, and reporting in our CRM

Maintain data hygiene and process compliance across the CRM; identify and resolve gaps in opportunity and account data

Build and maintain dashboards and reports that give leadership real-time visibility into the business

Assist in onboarding new sales reps and delivering ongoing CRM training and enablement

Serve as a first point of escalation for sales process and tool questions
Quote-to-Booking Ownership (End to End)

Own the full quote-to-booking process; this role is the single point of accountability from opportunity through booked order, bridging what would traditionally be split between a Sales order management role and an Operations order fulfillment role

Manage end-to-end quote creation, pricing validation, order processing, and booking confirmation using our CRM and ERP (SAP / NetSuite)

Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure deals are structured correctly and transition cleanly from purchase order receipt to fulfillment handoff

Serve as the primary point of contact for order status, booking accuracy, and resolution of order-related issues across teams

Identify and document CPQ and order management gaps; drive improvements to quoting accuracy, order booking speed, and process scalability
Systems Testing & Process Design

Actively participate in UAT (user acceptance testing) for CRM & ERP configurations and integrations

Document test cases, log defects, and work cross-functionally to drive resolution

Support the design and implementation of system workflows spanning CRM, ERP, and fulfillment ensuring data flows correctly end to end

Partner with IT and implementation partners on tool integration touchpoints including order management, fulfillment, and invoicing

Support the Operations team with system design, implementation, and testing across fulfillment-related workflows, including contract manufacturing, EDI, and RMA/depot processes

Contribute to the creation of process documentation, SOPs, and training materials as systems are stood up and evolved
Required
-
4–7 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Order Fulfillment, or Business Systems ideally in a startup or small company environment

Working knowledge of Salesforce CPQ configuration, quoting workflows, pricing rules, and order generation
-
Familiarity with SAP, NetSuite, or another enterprise ERP system, particularly in the context of order management, fulfillment, and financial processes

Understanding of contract manufacturing order fulfillment models and how they connect to ERP and downstream systems
-
Working knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes and transaction sets common in manufacturing and fulfillment environments (e.g., 850, 856, 810)

Familiarity with RMA and depot repair/return processes, including how they are configured and tracked in ERP systems

Solid understanding of the quote-to-cash process end to end

Experience participating in or leading systems testing (UAT), including writing test cases and tracking issues to resolution

Comfortable working in ambiguity and building processes from scratch with limited resources

Strong analytical skills & proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with BI tools a plus
Nice to Have

Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SD, or NetSuite (order management, fulfillment, or financials modules)

Exposure to systems integrations and data mapping between CRM and ERP

Experience with EDI mapping, testing, or trading partner onboarding

Prior experience at a Series A–C startup or in a company scaling its go-to-market systems
