The Role

We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to help build the top of our sales funnel and introduce Melius to the world's most innovative brands.

As one of our earliest GTM hires, you'll identify and engage creative leaders, marketers, and AI-forward teams through highly personalized outbound. You'll work closely with founders to build a repeatable outbound motion, experiment with new prospecting strategies, and play a key role in shaping how Melius goes to market.


What You'll Do

  • Own outbound prospecting across email, LinkedIn, phone, and other creative channels.

  • Research target accounts and craft highly personalized outreach to senior marketing, creative, and brand leaders.

  • Generate qualified meetings for the sales team and consistently exceed pipeline goals.

  • Build account plans and identify buying signals across enterprise organizations.

  • Experiment with new outbound strategies, messaging, tooling, and AI workflows to improve conversion rates.

  • Work closely with founders to refine ICPs, messaging, and sales playbooks.

  • Maintain a clean, organized CRM and continuously improve outbound processes.

  • Represent Melius with professionalism, curiosity, and strong product knowledge.


What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or a customer-facing role at a high-growth startup or SaaS company.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft thoughtful, personalized outreach.

  • Highly motivated, resilient, and comfortable with high-volume outbound.

  • Curious, coachable, and eager to continuously improve your craft.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excited to experiment with AI tools, automation, and modern outbound techniques.

  • Interest in AI, creative technology, marketing, or enterprise software is a strong plus.

  • Ambition to grow into an Account Executive or broader GTM leadership role over time.

  • Comfortable working in-person from our NYC office 5 days a week.
