Job Description

Raffles The Red Sea is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Clerk to join our operations team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the receipt, inspection, and documentation of all incoming shipments and deliveries to our luxury property. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes while maintaining the highest standards of organization and professionalism.

  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments and deliveries against purchase orders and invoices
  • Document receipt of goods accurately in inventory management systems and maintain detailed receiving records
  • Identify and report discrepancies, damaged items, or missing goods to management and suppliers promptly
  • Organize and store received items in designated areas following proper storage protocols and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area and warehouse space
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments regarding delivery schedules and inventory status
  • Process and file all receiving documentation in a timely and organized manner
  • Perform physical tasks including unloading, moving, and organizing merchandise as needed
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits to ensure accuracy of records
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Receiving Clerk, warehouse associate, or similar inventory management role
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills; experience with inventory management systems is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items regularly as part of job duties
  • Physical capability to work in a warehouse or receiving environment
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices
  • Familiarity with forklift operation or material handling equipment is preferred
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy and efficiency

  • experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-Opening stages.
  • Experience in pre-Opening is a must.
