Job Description
The Kids Club Animator creates fun, engaging, and safe activities for children staying at the resort, ensuring they have unforgettable experiences in line with SO/ brand style and the All-Inclusive Collection concept. With energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children, the Kids Club Animator delivers daily programs, games, and events that combine learning, play, and imagination.
Key Responsibilities
Activity Delivery
- Lead and animate daily recreational programs including arts & crafts, games, sports, storytelling, and themed activities for children of various age groups.
- Bring creativity and personality to each session, ensuring an exciting and interactive experience.
- Support special family-friendly events, themed parties, and seasonal programs in coordination with other resort departments.
Guest Experience
- Welcome children and parents warmly, ensuring clear communication of activity schedules and safety guidelines.
- Build rapport with young guests, creating memorable connections and encouraging repeat participation.
- Act as a brand ambassador, reflecting SO/ style, energy, and values in all interactions.
Safety & Compliance
- Monitor children’s activities at all times, ensuring safety and security in line with resort policies and child care standards.
- Adhere to all child check-in/check-out procedures, maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure Kids Club areas, equipment, and materials remain safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Teamwork
- Work closely with fellow Kids Club team members, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and collaborative environment.
- Share ideas and feedback for new programs or improvements to enhance the overall guest and family experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare, recreation, entertainment, or hospitality; experience in a resort or hotel Kids Club is an advantage.
- Outgoing, creative, and energetic personality with a genuine passion for working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; English required (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to animate and engage groups of children through games, performance, and interactive activities.
- Knowledge of child safety and first aid; CPR certification preferred.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
