Job Description

 

  • Responsible for targeting new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the organization.
  • Any matter which may effect the interests of ACCOR should be brought to the attention of the Management.
  • Particular focus will be on rooms business from the Hyderabad market for Novotel Hyderabad.
  • Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the organization.
  • Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to direct the Sales & Marketing department to achieve objectives established in the Organization’s Strategic Plan. 
  • Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination and co-operation with all departments of Novotel Hyderabad and Hyderabad International Convention Centre to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, and guest service.
  • Identify optimal, cost effective use of the resources and educate the team on the same.
  • Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to prepare Annual Sales goals, develop working plans to carry out goals, compare actual achievements against goals and hence take necessary corrective action.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable hospitality school
  • Minimum 5 years of Sales management experience or at least an years of experience in a similar capacity with proven records
  • High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of global markets and business acumen
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
