Design Engineer-SD

Job Description

Job Responsibility:
1. Provide technical solutions on designing new products and processes and improving and maintaining existing products. 
2. Conduct design analysis on components and/ or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturability and reliable. 
3. Work out drawings of parts, structural components, assemblies constructively according to the preset index, sketch, and draft. 
4. Edit the combination through application/ modification of existing individual function and elements constructively. 
5. Implement graphical studies of design, dimensions and tolerance according to the drafts and specification considering the manufacturing technical problem, repair possibility (eg. Assembly and disassembly) and space availability, combine the similar function of the parts. 
6. Obtain and check necessary construction documents, examine feasibility and function constructively and discuss about and suggest constructive changes.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 
1. Bachelor's degree. Major in Mechanical Engineering or related major. 
2. At least 3 years related experience in airport or logistics system. 
3. Good knowledge of equipment structure design like: link mechanism, gear motion structure, belt wheel structure, shaft/bearing structure, chain wheel/ chain structure. 
4. Skilled with 3D design software, such as Solid edge/ Solid Works/ UG, Auto CAD. 
5. Good written and spoken English. 
6. Familiar with computer / office skills. 
7. Good communication skills. 
8. Structured thinking and problem-solving oriented approach. 
9. Hard working and quick learning ability.
