Job Description
Main responsibilities:
- To be responsible for growing, nurturing and leading the commercial activities of the business
- To maximise the hotel’s revenue and maintain the competitiveness of the property
- Directly oversee and manage the sales team to ensure sales optimisation
- Build new relationships with companies and agencies to maximise on all promotional opportunities for events & sales
- To identify need periods and proactively action business opportunities
- To create, communicate and drive sales strategies
- Growth in corporate business
- Travel to trade shows, visiting clients, as required to grow the business
Qualifications
Experience and skills required to fulfill the role:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in luxury hospitality sales and marketing role
- Previous experience of managing a Sales team
- A keen eye for detail, passion for hospitality and an appreciation for luxury, personalised service
- Working knowledge with software systems such as, Opera Cloud and Ideas
- Excellent, strong organisational and communication skills
- Understanding of revenue trends and predictions to drive the property forward
Additional Information
We are offering a competitive salary for a full-time role, which may include evenings, weekends. You will report directly to the General Manager.
