Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Proposal Writer (US Federal) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in proposal writing. This role requires strong writing, research, and organizational skills to develop compelling proposals for government and commercial clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 
  • Assist in writing proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.

  • Research and analyze solicitation requirements to ensure compliance.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and technical teams to gather proposal content.

  • Maintain proposal templates, boilerplate content, and best practices documentation.

  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and persuasiveness in proposal content.

  • Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Required Qualifications:

 
  • 1-3 years of experience in proposal writing (US Federal).

  • Strong understanding of the proposal development lifecycle, including compliance and formatting guidelines.

  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.

  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise content.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Familiarity with government contracting and proposal management tools is a plus.
