Job Description
A proactive and detail-oriented role responsible for supporting project performance reporting at a central governance level. Ensuring the effective implementation of the cascading framework for monthly performance meetings, facilitating transparent and collaborative discussions that drive alignment across project teams and stakeholders. Demonstrates strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail in tracking performance metrics, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring compliance with established governance standards that inform strategic decision-making.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate and facilitate SI Onshore governance meetings, including Onshore Performance Board and Regional Performance Boards.
- Monitor the quality of project performance data and reporting, leading improvement activities to enhance portfolio performance reporting.
- Conduct root cause analysis with data owners to identify and implement longer-term data fixes and improvements.
- Scope reporting requirements with key stakeholders and collaborate with the Data Engineering team throughout development and testing of new automated reports.
- Work with the Project team, Support Functions, SI Performance Reporting team and Data team to ensure accurate, timely data reporting and develop insightful dashboards that integrate operational and financial reporting.
- Deliver the monthly cascading framework within SI Onshore on schedule.
- Develop and deliver regular and ad-hoc management information to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Share lessons learned with the wider Performance Reporting community to enhance service delivery and drive continuous improvement.
- Translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate formats that provide actionable insights to project teams, SI Management and senior stakeholders.
- Maintain data integrity by establishing and overseeing adequate governance and controls for project and SI Leadership team data requirements.
- Generate performance insights from SI Onshore data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide PMO coordination support to the PPMO, ensuring alignment between performance reporting and other PMO functions.
- Own and manage the monthly narrative capture process, identifying opportunities for automation and simplification to establish a single source of truth.
Qualifications
- Strong background in process or performance improvement, using data to enable informed decision-making.
- An inquisitive approach to understanding not only the data being presented but also the underlying drivers.
- Exceptional organisational abilities, with a strong focus on managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Highly detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of data management and performance reporting.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and provide support.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Experience in tracking and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Demonstrated capability to identify issues and implement effective solutions, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Proficient in preparing and presenting reports on data and performance metrics, ensuring clarity and relevance for various audiences.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience in working collaboratively within a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of Performance Reporting team and PMO function activities and responsibilities.
- Good understanding of Power BI capabilities, particularly front-end functionality.
