Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain consistency in coffee quality, taste, presentation, and service delivery.
Supervise daily barista operations and provide guidance to junior team members.
Train and coach Baristas on coffee preparation techniques, beverage knowledge, and service standards.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of coffee beans, ingredients, and equipment.
Monitor coffee equipment performance and coordinate maintenance when required.
Develop and recommend new beverage ideas, seasonal menus, and coffee promotions.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards of the coffee station and service area.
Assist in inventory control, stock monitoring, and beverage cost management.
Provide personalized service by engaging with guests and understanding their preferences.
Handle guest feedback and requests professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
Support hotel events, functions, and special beverage requirements when required.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and hotel operational standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Barista, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel, specialty coffee shop, or luxury hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, espresso techniques, and beverage preparation.
Experience in training and supervising junior baristas is preferred.
Good understanding of beverage costing, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.
Excellent communication and guest service skills.
Good command of English (spoken and written).
Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about coffee and beverage innovation.
Professional appearance and positive service attitude.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Relevant barista certification (e.g., specialty coffee training) is an advantage.
