Room Attendant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay by maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our guest rooms and public areas.

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
• Maintain the cleanliness of guest corridors, public areas, and service areas
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests
• Handle and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Collect and remove dirty linens, trash, and recyclables from guest rooms
• Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the appropriate department
• Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure efficient operations
• Adhere to safety and security procedures at all times
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
• Maintain guest privacy and protect their personal belongings

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience required; hotel cleaning experience highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
• Understanding of proper chemical usage and manual handling techniques
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guest satisfaction
• Basic English language proficiency required
• Familiarity with Qatar's hospitality industry is a plus
