What you will be doing:

• Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
• Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
• Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback
• Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operation of the assigned kitchen section.
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to hotel recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely and consistent manner.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP and hotel policies.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering.
• Support the training and guidance of junior kitchen colleagues when required.
• Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an international hotel environment.
• Culinary qualification or relevant professional training is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and HACCP food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in accordance with hotel standards.
