An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Branch/Yard Assistant to join our thriving Northampton branch. If you're a motivated team player with a flexible approach and a passion for providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

Your job

This role involves:

• Providing customers with product and service information
• Pick customer orders accurately
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
• Process orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline
• Serve customers on the trade counter when required
• Customer interaction

Qualifications

Required:

• Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills
• Literacy & Numeracy
• A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
• An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment

Desirable:

• Warehouse experience
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Forklift truck licence
