Working Student - IT-Security (all genders)

Job Description

• Respond to security-related alerts and messages from various monitoring tools.
• Investigate potentially malicious events within the company’s infrastructure.
• Improve incident detection and response processes in the company.
• Participate in various projects that the team is involved in.
• Support various business units with access management requests.
• Consult our colleagues regarding any security-related questions they might have.
• Keep an eye on current threats and zero-day vulnerabilities in the cybersecurity space and implement preventative measures within the organization

Qualifications

• You are currently studying, or have a background, in IT-Security, Computer Science, IT-Administration, or something similar
• You are fluent in written and spoken English
• You can clearly communicate using email and other digital tools (e.g., Google Chat)
• You are interested in incident response, blue teaming or digital forensics
• You understand the basics of different cyber attacks, computer networking
• You are able to write scripts and programs to automate tasks in Python or Bash
• You are familiar with Linux

Nice To Have

• Experience in AWS is a strong plus
