We are seeking a dynamic and driven Account Manager to strengthen our North American sales presence and expand VusionGroup's customer base. Your mission will be to define and develop the scope of your business, with an initial focus on growing existing partnerships with Appliance Buying Groups and a C-store POS Partner. You will also be responsible for supporting Account Managers in the DIY vertical. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive business development efforts to create new leads and generate a robust pipeline, collaborating with Lead Gen and marketing teams to devise effective pipeline generation strategies.
- Cultivate relationships with buying groups, potential partners, and regional groupings to expand your network.
- Execute sales activities with precision, maintaining a healthy pipeline to achieve or surpass sales goals and expectations.
- Establish and nurture multiple contacts and relationships at various levels and departments within prospects, developing advocates within customer organizations to strengthen ties.
- Convert leads generated from calling, marketing, emailing, or other defined campaigns into successful sales.
- Deliver compelling online demos showcasing the company, its solutions, and offerings.
- Engage in face-to-face meetings with business owners to build rapport and close deals.
- Participate in trade shows to support deal closures and network expansion.
- Take responsibility for growing existing partnerships.
Qualifications
Qualifications we’re looking for.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of sales/business development experience.
- Managed end-to-end sales cycle.
- Proven track record in selling into the retail space.
- Managed prospecting efforts to deliver a qualified pipeline
- Growing existing relationships
- Skills:
- Proficiency with Salesforce is highly preferred.
- Experience in marketing and/or close collaboration with a Marketing Lead Generation team is a plus.
- Creative sales mindset and self-motivation.
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Experience within a software as a service (SaaS) company.
- Abilities:
- Ability to work in a start-up and/or ambiguous environment, demonstrating adaptability.
- Strong ability and desire to meet aggressive deadlines and sales targets.
- Proficiency in forecasting.
- Hands-on experience working with prospects in person.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling into retail environments and customers.
- Willingness to travel up to 70%.
