Job Description

We are looking for an analytically driven Junior Commercial Performance & Insights Manager to support commercial teams and decision-making through a mix of performance analyses, commercial initiative ownership, market intelligence, and cross-functional coordination.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems through data, working with multiple stakeholders, and supporting commercial initiatives in a dynamic e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct analytical deep dives to support execution of commercial and sales performance initiatives.
  • Perform market and competitor analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Support the development of business cases and performance analyses for commercial decision-making.
  • Monitor key business metrics and evaluate the impact of commercial initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional commercial initiatives, ensuring execution readiness, performance tracking, and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business teams to support execution and issue resolution.
  • Support Sales and related business functions with ad hoc analyses, issue resolution, and problem solving.
  • Translate business questions into data requirements and contribute to actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare structured analyses and presentations to support stakeholder decision-making.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong analytical mindset with structured execution and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong SQL skills, including:
    • translating business questions into data logic,
    • writing SQL queries,
    • extracting and analyzing datasets.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Business-fluent English.
  • Ability to balance independent ownership with cross-functional collaboration.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have

  • German language skills.
  • Ecommerce, consulting or commercial analytics experience.
