What will your role be? 

We are looking for an IT SYSTEM ENGINEER to perform the following activities: 

• Deploy, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
• Administer and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes (k8s) clusters in on-premise
• Manage and optimize VMware virtualization infrastructure (vSphere/vCenter/ESXi)
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on Linux systems, networking, and storage
• Define operational procedures, automate workflows with Ansible, and develop scripts
• Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to ensure platform stability, security, and scalability
• Manage platform lifecycle: upgrades, patching, backup, and disaster recovery

Qualifiche

What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies 

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Engineer or Linux Administrator
• Deep knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (installation, configuration, hardening)
• Proven experience with VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi)
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with automation and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to Have

• Red Hat Certifications: RHCSA, RHCE, EX280 (OpenShift Administration)
• Knowledge of GitOps and CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
