The $500B+ global agency services market is old and broken, and AI just blew the supply side open: 100+ AI-native services launched in the past year alone, with no platform connecting buyers to the new shape of supply. That gap has been open for years. We're building the company that fills it.

Role summary

Intern Engineers at Matchii work closely with the engineering team to build, improve, and scale the products and systems that power our platform.

This role provides hands-on experience across software development, including frontend, backend, data, and AI-powered features. Intern Engineers collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to ship real product improvements, solve technical challenges, and learn how modern technology companies build scalable systems.

As an early member of the team, Intern Engineers will gain exposure to startup product development, engineering practices, and the process of turning ideas into production-ready solutions.

What you'll own

• Build and ship real product improvements across frontend, backend, data, and AI-powered features.

• Own assigned projects end-to-end, from understanding requirements to implementation, testing, and iteration.

• Work closely with senior engineers and product teams to turn ideas into working solutions.

• Contribute to improving product quality, performance, and user experience.

• Write clean, maintainable code and follow engineering best practices.

• Debug technical issues and learn how to solve real-world engineering problems.

• Explore and leverage modern AI tools to improve development workflows and product capabilities.

Who we're looking for

• Strong programming fundamentals and ability to build software independently.

• Experience with at least one programming language and interest in full-stack, backend, data, or AI development.

• Comfortable learning new technologies and working in fast-moving environments.

• Passionate about AI, startups, and solving real-world problems through technology.

• Takes ownership, asks thoughtful questions, and enjoys building from zero to one.

• Excited to work closely with an early-stage team and contribute beyond assigned tasks.
