AUZO is redefining the vehicle service experience by connecting customers, dealerships, and professional drivers through a seamless vehicle pickup and delivery platform. As we continue expanding across the United States, we are seeking a Regional Driver Coordinator to support driver recruitment, pilot operations, and regional growth initiatives.
This position will initially focus on Florida and will play a key role in supporting expansion throughout the East Coast. This role will work closely with our Director of Driver Operations supporting expansion.
Position Summary
The Regional Driver Coordinator is responsible for building and supporting AUZO's driver network within an assigned region. This role oversees the driver recruitment lifecycle, coordinates pilot program operations, supports drivers during testing and launch phases, and works closely with leadership to identify opportunities for operational improvements and regional growth.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDriver Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage the full driver recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening through onboarding and activation.
Conduct candidate interviews and evaluate driver qualifications.
Coordinate background checks, motor vehicle record reviews, and onboarding documentation.
Ensure drivers complete all required training and certification requirements.
Maintain a healthy recruiting pipeline to support regional growth targets.
Pilot Program Management
Coordinate and manage pilot testing activities within assigned markets.
Schedule and arrange driver assignments, customer appointments, and dealership coordination.
Monitor pilot program performance and provide operational support during testing phases.
Track key metrics and provide regular updates to leadership.
Identify opportunities to improve service quality and operational efficiency during pilot launches.
Driver Support & Success
Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers within the region.
Provide guidance and support during pilot testing and market launches.
Assist with issue resolution, trip-related concerns, and operational questions.
Promote driver engagement and retention through proactive communication and relationship management.
Ensure drivers consistently deliver a professional customer experience.
Regional Operations & Growth
Partner with executive leadership and operational teams to support market expansion initiatives.
Communicate field feedback, operational challenges, and growth opportunities to leadership.
Assist in developing and refining regional processes and best practices.
Support the implementation of new programs, workflows, and training initiatives.
Help establish scalable operational procedures for future East Coast expansion.
Reporting & Process Improvement
Maintain accurate recruiting, onboarding, and operational records.
Track recruiting performance, driver activation rates, and pilot program results.
Analyze trends and recommend process improvements.
Prepare reports and updates for executive and director-level stakeholders.
QualificationsRequired
2+ years of experience in recruiting, operations, logistics coordination, customer success, workforce management, or related fields.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Comfortable working independently in a startup or rapidly changing environment.
Proficiency with CRM, ATS, scheduling, and productivity software.
Preferred
Experience recruiting or managing drivers, contractors, or field service personnel.
Experience in transportation, logistics, mobility, automotive, or gig-economy industries.
Experience supporting pilot programs, market launches, or operational testing initiatives.
Knowledge of dealership operations is a plus.
Growth Opportunity
This role is expected to begin with ownership of Florida operations and evolve into a broader East Coast regional leadership position as AUZO expands. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape recruiting strategies, operational processes, and regional growth initiatives across multiple markets.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
