The role of Lead Software Engineer is to design, build, and maintain high-quality technology solutions that support our clients’ AI ecosystem. This role will require close and continuous collaboration with the team members to translate user stories and functional requirements into technical designs which will be implemented as production-ready application code.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a small consulting team while also working as a hands-on developer. Design and develop applications in Python, writing high-quality code.
• Drive the delivery of this project from prototype to rollout, balancing speed-to-market with long-term sustainability.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate complex technical trade-offs into clear business recommendations.
• Collaborate with leadership to recognize emerging client needs and frame solutions aligned evolving priorities.
• Understand how the technology will fit within the client’s ecosystem and how the technology will impact people and processes.
• Translate user stories and functional requirements into technical designs.
• Design, build, and maintain high-quality technology solutions that deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure application SLAs are met by employing appropriate monitoring and alerting tools as required by each supported application.
• Assist with the identification and definition of key architectures, components and interfaces, design of data model and data/information flows.
• Create new features or parts of applications with the end user in mind, providing the best experience.

What You’ll Bring

• 10-12+ years of software engineering and consulting experience, with a focus on enterprise-scale applications.
• Deep expertise in Python development.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in client-facing roles
• Ability to balance hands-on coding, delivery leadership and engagement management
• Enthusiastic, flexible, and driven to deliver high-quality solutions under tight timelines.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams
