As a Studio Operations Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of the studio — bringing structure, energy and clarity to how everything runs. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, with a deep understanding of the studio’s technical set-up, ensuring equipment and spaces are used to their full creative and commercial potential.

You’ll also play a key role in shaping how the studio evolves — from refining processes and optimising workflows, to influencing decisions around space, equipment and overall set-up. Working closely with internal and external partners, including architects and suppliers, you’ll help create an environment that works seamlessly for artists and teams alike.

Given the nature of recording projects and artist schedules, this role operates within a task-based model. Flexibility is key, with working hours often extending beyond the standard 08:00–18:00 day to support sessions and creative timelines.

What you'll do:

  • Complex management of the day-to-day operations of a professional recording studio
  • Coordination of bookings and the recording session schedule
  • Collaboration with artists, producers, managers, and business partners
  • Coordination of work with subcontractors and technicians regarding the maintenance of studio installations and equipment
  • Oversee technical infrastructure and organizing maintenance and technical support
  • Manage service providers and studio equipment suppliers
  • Monitor operating costs, accounting and documentation
  • Ensure the highest standards for the studio space and the client experience
  • Support recruitment processes and coordinating collaboration with the team and subcontractors

Who you are:

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple processes and projects simultaneously,
  • Flexibility and willingness to work non-standard hours (tailored to the schedule of sessions and artists),
  • Attention to detail, a sense of aesthetics regarding the space and a high standard of customer service
  • Ability to manage budgets, costs, and maintain documentation,
  • Basic technical knowledge or willingness to collaborate with technical and service teams,
  • Ability to coordinate the work of subcontractors and suppliers,
  • Knowledge of English (minimum B1 level) sufficient for fluent communication

What we give you:

  • You join a vibrant global community with the opportunity to channel your passion every day
  • A modern office environment designed for you, empowering you to bring your best
  • Investment in your professional growth and development enabling you to thrive in our vibrant community
  • The space to accelerate progress, positively disrupt and create what happens next
  • We give you the platform to champion positive change, with the opportunity to contribute to our social impact, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
  • We provide an excellent range of benefits like private medical cover, a generous pension scheme, life assurance, income protection, plus loads of music industry perks. There’s also time off over winter break
